FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College men's baseball team showed its offensive prowess outscoring Texas College 34-13 in a 2 game sweep. The Crusaders won game 1 14-4 and won game 2 20-9.
Game 1:The Crusaders scored 8 runs in the 6th inning propelling its team to victory.
Wyatt Smith went 3 for 5 with a double, RBI, and 2 runs scored.
Jonas Ledesma went 1 for 5 with 2 RBI's.
Kennedy Butler went 2 for 3 with a home-run and 4 RBI's.
Bryce Garza picked up his second win on the mound pitching 3 innings, allowing 6 hits, 3 earned runs,, and 2 strikeouts in 15 batters faced.
Max Zierau pitched 4 innings allowing 3 hits, 1 run, and 2 strikeouts.
Game 2: The Crusaders used a 9 run 3rd inning to propel its team to a 20-9 victory.
Nathan Fuentes went 3 for 4 at the plate with 3 RBI's and 2 runs scored.
Gage Anderson went 2 for 3 with a double and 3 RBI's.
Wyatt Smith went 3 for 4 at the plate with a home-run and 6 RBI's.
Isacc Paniagua went 3 for 4 at the plate with 2 RBI's.
Adam Jordan picked up his first win of the season on the mound pitching 3 innings, allowing 6 runs, and 1 strikeout.
Braden Montgomery pitched 3 innings allowing 3 runs and 5 hits in 15 batters faced.
