ARLINGTON, TX-- The Dallas Christian College men's basketball team suffered a 106-89 loss in a fast-paced match-up against Arlington Baptist on Tuesday evening, falling to 0-2 in Southwest Region play.
The Crusaders fought hard, but were not able to overcome an early deficit falling 106-89 in a physical game with 55 fouls between the 2 teams.
The Crusaders shot 32-60 (53%) from the field, 6-17 (35%) from the three-point line, and shot 19-35 (54%) from the Free-throw line. The Crusaders had 8 second-chance points, 42 points in the paint, 2 fast-break points, 9 points off turnovers, and 40 bench points.Â
The Crusaders had 38 rebounds, 12 assists, and 89 total points.
Carlas Canady had 26 points,
Nick Lancit had 19 points and 8 rebounds,
Kordon Henderson had 12 points, and
Seth Mays had 10 points.Â
The Crusaders will have a quick turnaround with another regional game against West Coast Baptist College at 1 PM.
