BROWNWOOD, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Men's Basketball team suffered a 87-60 loss on Saturday afternoon at the Brownwood Coliseum against Mcmurry University.
The Crusaders fought hard, but McMurry scored 48 points in the second en route to an 87-60 win.
The Crusaders shot 21-53 (40%) from the field, 5-21 (24%) from the three-point line, and 13-19 (68%) from the free-throw line. DCC had 7 second chance points, 24 points in the paint, 13 fast break points, 15 points off turnovers, and 22 bench points.
Seth Mays had 11 points and 6 rebounds.
Nick Lancit had 11 points in 23 minutes.
Carlas Canady had 9 points and 4 rebounds.
Ayo Awoyomi had 8 points and 3 rebounds. The Crusaders will be back in action on Friday night against Texas A&M Corpus Christi in an Exhibition game.
