Box Score MELBOURNE FLORIDA-- The Dallas Christian College Softball team completed a strong offensive performance in a 13-3 route of Indiana University South Bend on Friday morning in the Space Coast Games.

The Lady Crusaders scored 11 runs in the top half of the first inning. Kyleigh Lewis started things off with a single to left field, followed by a Lia Rojas walk, a Kaylee Brent single, and a Georgina Carillo single to center-field to score Kyleigh Lewis to make the score 1-0.

Erin Thibault, Laila Robins both had RBI singles to extend the lead to 3-0. Erin Thibault scored on an error. The Lady Crusaders batted around the lineup notching 11 runs on 9 hits, and 2 errors.

Kyleigh Lewis went 3 for 4 at the plate. Lia Rojas went 1 for 2 with 3 RBI"s. Kaylee Brent went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI's. Laila Robins went 2 for 3 at the plate with 1 RBI. 

Kaylee Brent pitched 5 innings allowing 6 hits, 3 runs, no earned runs, and 5 strikeouts. The Lady Crusaders will look to finish the trip up with another win against IUSB at 12:15 PM.
