Dallas Christian College Director of Athletics
Gregg Mucerino announces Mark Bohls as the new Head Women's Volleyball Coach. Coach Mucerino shared his thoughts on the new hiring. "There is no doubt the Lord has orchestrated this opportunity for us to hire Coach Mark Bohls," said Mucerino. "He is a next-level tactician with a heart for Jesus and a love for the girls he coaches. We are ecstatic to see what the Lord is going to do with Coach Bohls at the helm."
Mark grew up as a basketball athlete and musician, attending Temple University where he pursued both. In 2005 he transferred to Texas Tech where he pursued volleyball, competing on the Men's indoor Club team, and competing in beach volleyball.
Today he still plays beach volleyball competitively but focuses more on coaching. He has coached indoor for Attack Volleyball and TAV, as well as beach volleyball for Mad-Frog, 692, and currently runs TAV Beach Grapevine.
Mark is a passionate teacher, learner, and Christian. His experience in his faith and as an athlete has called him to coaching, and produced a desire to serve. He continually works to deepen his own knowledge and experience of coaching and athletic performance, as well as his growing in his faith and walk with Christ, to honor the blessing of where the Lord has called him.
Outside of volleyball Mark is married to wife Cynthia (who he met coaching) with 3 children, Millie, Fisher, and Nolan.
