Gregg Mucerino

Gregg Mucerino was appointed the next Athletics Director for Dallas Christian College in the spring of 2020. He will oversee the Crusaders Athletics Department, which sponsors men's and women's basketball, baseball, volleyball, men's soccer, and men's and women's cross country, and looks to have women's soccer in 2021.

Mucerino was the 2018 NCCAA Regional Coach of the Year, had the most wins in program history, led team mission trips in conjunction with Operation Blessing, was a strong sports fundraiser, and was the 2019 NCAA Regional Site Director for Division II playoffs.

He has been the head baseball coach at Colorado Christian University for five years, where he was responsible for player recruitment and program development, fundraising, and initiating a spiritual growth and development program for players and staff.

Prior to that he was the Associate Athletic Director at Calvary Christian Academy in Florida, head baseball coach at Loyola University in Louisiana, assistant coach at College of Charleston in South Carolina, and assistant coach at The Citadel in South Carolina.

Mucerino graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in marketing.

He received high praise from his former Athletic Director, former Assistant Athletic Director, the Faculty Representative of CCU, and a father whose son was recruited and played for him.  Among many other statements made about Gregg, these people shared about his strong personal faith in Christ, his recruitment of excellent student athletes, his hard work ethic, his leadership ability in coaching and with staff, and his deep love for his family.

His former Athletic Director highlighted how he had turned around a baseball program at CCU within a year. We welcome Gregg and his wife, Yvette, to the DCC family!
