Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 DALLAS, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Baseball team hosted Arlington Baptist University on Friday afternoon at Glenda and Denny Dixon Field. The Crusaders exploded for 11 runs in the first game of the day for an 11-1 victory. Game 2 only went 6 innings, due to the rain, but was ruled final as ABU picked up the 8-0 victory. 

Game 1: The Crusaders exploded for 6 runs in the sixth inning and never looked back as they soared to an 11-0 victory. Bryce Garza put together another outstanding performance on the mound pitching another complete game. He allowed 5 hits, 1 run, no earned runs, and recorded 4 strike-outs in 25 batters faced. Joel Stone went 1 for 2 with a homerun and three RBI's, and also scored 1 run. Marcos Franjul went 1 for 3 with 2 RBI's. Marcos Franjul went 1 for 3 with 2 RBI's and a sacrifice fly. The Crusaders defense made solid plays to support their starting pitcher and ultimately did not give up a run after the opening inning and started the day off with a win to extend their win streak to 10 games. 

Game 2: The Crusaders suffered an 8-0 loss in game 2 in 6 innings and did not finish the final inning of the game due to weather. ABU scored 4 runs in the first inning and 4 runs in the fourth inning to secure an 8-0 victory. Tobin Jones pitched 4 innings allowing 6 earned runs, and recorded 6 strikeouts. Jaidon Erivez went 2 for 3. Stefon Reyes went 2 for 3 with a double. The Crusaders will close out the regular season tomorrow afternoon at 12 and 2:30 p.m. on Senior Day.
