Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 DALLAS, TX-- The Dallas Christian College softball team scored 21 runs in two games against Ecclesia College on Friday afternoon. DCC defeated EC 12-3 in game 1 and 9-3 in game 2.

The Lady Crusaders offense exploded for a loud 9 runs in the first inning to gain control of the game and never looked back. Hanna Roye grounded out in the first at bat and then the Crusaders streaked for 11 straight hits. 

Hanna Roye went 2 for 4 with a triple, single, and 2 RBI's. Summer Hasfurter went 3 for 4 with a homerun and 3 RBI's. Kaylee Brent went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored. Mattee Fry went 2 for 2 with 1 RBI. Avery Tapia had a stellar day at the plate with a double and 4 RBI'S.

Summer Hasfurter pitched 5 innings, allowing 6 hits, 3 runs, and recorded 1 strikeout. In game 2 the Crusaders carried momentum into the second game and secured a 9-3 victory. DCC will be back at home hosting Ecclesia at 2 and 4 p.m.
