Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 KANSAS-- The Dallas Christian College men's basketball team traveled to Kansas for the weekend facing off against Spurgeon College on Friday and Kansas Christian on Saturday. The Crusaders were impressive on Friday knocking off Spurgeon College by a score of 102-90. On Saturday DCC lost at KCC by a score of 86-58. 

Game 1: The Crusaders were off and running on Friday in a very fast-paced offensive-minded game. After one half of play the Crusaders carried a 50-49 lead into the locker-room. DCC came out in the second half on fire expanding the lead to as much as 20 points. DCC picked up a huge 102-90 regional win on the road.

Game 2: The Crusaders fell in the second game of a back-to-back this weekend on the road against Kansas Christian College by a score of 86-58.

The Crusaders shot 23-54 (42%) from the field, 7-16 (43%) from the three-point line, and 5-12 (41%) from the free-throw line. DCC tallied 14 second chance points, 26 points in the paint, 6 points off turnovers, and 35 bench points. Taro Ford had a team-high 21 points on 9-14 shooting from the field. Tyjuan Battles had 12 points, 3 assists, and 4 rebounds. TJ Tilly Hobson had 6 points and 4 rebounds in 18 minutes. The Crusaders will be back on the road on Jan. 18 at Southwestern Adventist University.
