FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College men's basketball team suffered a 91-81 loss on Saturday night against Southwestern Adventist University in a physical, fast-paced match-up.
The Crusaders jumped out to an early lead, but were not able to hold the lead as the Knights overcame an early deficit.
The Crusaders shot 24-65 (37%) from the field, 9-29 (31%) from the three-point line, 24-32 from the free-throw line. DCC had 14 second chance points, 28 points in the paint, 17 bench points, and 13 points off turnovers.
Nick Lancit scored 29 points on 8-14 shooting from the field.
Carlas Canady had 14 points.
Seth Mays had 12 points and 4 rebounds. The Crusaders will be back at home on Tuesday night for Senior night against Champion Christian College at 7 p.m.
