KEENE, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Men's Basketball team defeated Southwestern Adventist University 90-82 on Thursday night.
The Crusaders jumped out to a 16 point lead at halftime and were able to hold off a late comeback attempt by the Knights to secure the 90-82 victory.
The Crusaders shot 30-61 (49%) from the field, 5-15 (33%) from the three-point line, and 25-30 (83%) from the free-throw line. The Crusaders had 13 second chance points, 46 points in the paint, 13 points off turnovers, and 37 bench points.
Nick Lancit had a team high 21 points, 2 steals, and 3 rebounds.
Dion Grisnold had 13 points and 8 rebounds 5-6 shooting from the field.
Michael McLeod had 14 points off the bench. The Crusaders will close out the regular season on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. against Randall University.
