DALLAS, Texas – The Dallas Christian College softball team makes history with its first ever game on Tuesday, February 1, at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. The twinbill was moved up from Thursday due to expected inclement weather. First pitch of the day is set for 1 p.m.

Head Coach
Pat Hallahan was tabbed the head coach for DCC softball and has done well creating a steady roster for the program's inaugural campaign. Hallahan's staff that includes
Monti Van Brunt and
Darian Dunn are looking to navigate a roster of 15 players this season.
The Crusaders feature a youthful roster with 10 freshman, but also have some leadership thanks to five transfers. Forming the quintet are:
Kaycee McDowell,
Maya Williamson,
Emily Blocker,
Summer Hasfurter, and
Hannah Mattingley.
The true freshmen include:
Cassidy Jordan,
Leighianne Dale,
Jordyn Billodeaux,
Jackie Gutierrez,
Anyiah Dixon,
Trinity Johnson,
Katherine Hanks,
Mikenzie Miller,
Zyian Bender, and
Rhionnon Weatherly.
2022 DCC Softball Roster
The Crusaders will be facing the Lady Eagles, who went 31-17 a year ago and are members of the KCAC in the NAIA. Oklahoma Wesleyan was tabbed fourth in the 2022 KCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
