Mikala Muskrat joins the Dallas Christian College softball coaching staff, as the team looks to transition to next season. Muskrat is a native from Weatherford, Texas. She graduated from Millsap High School in 2018, where she played two seasons on Varsity Girls Basketball, Varsity Girls Track & Field, and Varsity Women's Golf. She also spent time as a manager with the volleyball and softball programs.Â
In college, Muskrat was a member of Mid-America Christian University. She is part of the class of 2022. She led the Evangels to a NCCAA Softball National Championship in 2021. In addition to being a manager for MACU softball, Muskrat was a Center for MACU women's basketball the same three seasons. In another season with the Evangels' women's basketball program, she was a student-assistant.Â
Muskrat also mentions playing one Varsity season of girls basketball at Chisholm Trail High School.Â
