FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College men's basketball team extended its win streak to 5 games with a 93-84 victory against College of Biblical Studies on Thursday night.
The Crusaders overcame a sharp-shooting first half from the Ambassadors, holding on to a 93-84 victory with 5 players scoring in double-digits.
The Crusaders shot 33-84 (39%) from the field, 7-17 (41%) from the three-point line, and 20-28 (71%) from the free-throw line. The Crusaders had 15 second chance points, 34 points in the paint, 10 points off turnovers, and 28 bench points.
Ayo Awoyomi had a career night with 21 points and 6 rebounds on 9-11 shooting from the field.
Seth Mays had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Dion Grisnold had his second straight double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Terius Maxie had 13 points and 6 rebounds off the bench.
Nick Lancit had 13 points and 5 assists. The Crusaders will be back at home on Saturday night against Southwestern Adventist University at 8:30 PM.
