Box Score KEENE, TX-- The Dallas Christian College women's basketball team suffered a 48-46 loss on Wednesday afternoon in the first round of the NCCAA DII SW Regional tournament hosted by Southwestern Adventist University.

Neither team was able to create separation throughout the game as it was back and forth, but CBS got the best of the Crusaders holding on the last possession.

The Crusaders shot 18-82 (22%) from the field, 2-17 (12%) from the three-point line, and 8-13 (62%) from the free-throw line. The Crusaders scored 28 points in the paint, 4 second chance points, 16 points off turnovers, and 18 bench points.

Kania Prichett had 13 points, 3 steals, and 7 rebounds. Mattie Parham had 8 points and 13 rebounds. Kera Martinez had 9 points, 8 steals, 4 blocks, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds.

Heading into next year, Coach Joel Garcia will look to continue to build the culture of the program.
