FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College women's basketball team suffered a 72-69 loss on Tuesday night against Champion Christian College.
The Crusaders battled back from a 26-7 deficit in the first half, but the Tigers were able to hold onto a 72-69 victory in a wire-to-wire game.
The Crusaders shot 24-77 (31%) from the field, 7-20 (35%) from the three-point line, and 14-21 (67%) from the free-throw line. The Crusaders had 4 second chance points, 18 points in the paint, 12 points off turnovers, and 20 bench points.
Kera Martinez had 15 points on 5-9 shooting from the field.
Brooke Nails had 13 points on 4-11 shooting from the field.
Kania Prichett had 11 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds. The Crusaders will be back on the road on Thur, Feb. 12 at 5 p.m.
