The Crusaders battled back from double-digit deficits multiple times, but the Patriots held off a late surge and prevailed with the victory in the crosstown rivalry.
The Crusaders shot 27-80 (34%) from the field, 4-15, (27%) from the three-point line, and 13-22 (59%) from the free-throw line. The Crusaders had 9 second chance points, 20 points in the paint, 28 points off turnovers, and 28 bench points.
Kera Martinez had 14 points, 4 blocks, 3 steals, and 4 rebounds on 6-13 shooting from the field.
DeMia Jackson had a near double-double with 10 points and 9 rebounds.
Mattie Parham had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
