MELBOURNE, FLORIDA-- The Dallas Christian College softball team suffered a 3-1 loss on Friday afternoon against Indiana University South Bend in the final game of the Space Coast games in Florida. 

IUSB got the scoring started off in the third inning with 3 runs, which were its only runs of the game. DCC answered back with its lone run of the game on a Kaylee Brent RBI single. 

Kyleigh Lewis went 2 for 4 at the plate. Lia Rojas went 4 fot 4 at the plate. Kaylee Brent went 2 for 4 with an RBI. Kelsey Cauthron pitched 7 innings allowing 7 hits, 3 runs, 1 earned run and 8 strikeouts in 30 batters faced. The Lady Crusaders will be back in action on Tuesday afternoon against Arlington Baptist.
