MELBOURNE, FLORIDA-- The Dallas Christian College Softball team suffered a 11-4 loss against Webber International University on Thursday afternoon at The Space Coast games.
The Lady Crusaders started the game off strong early with 3 runs in the bottom of the second inning. WIU dominated the remainder of the game scoring 5 runs in the 3rd and 4 runs in the 5th.Â
The Lady Crusaders scored 1 run in the last inning, but ultimately lost 11-4.
Lia Rojas went 1 for 4 at the plate.
Kaylee Brent went 1 for 3 at the plate with an RBI.
Nizhoni Yellow pitched 4 innings, allowing 7 hits, 7 runs, 4 earned runs, and 2 strikeouts.
Autumn Minyard pitched 1.2 innings allowing 5 hits, 3 runs, 2 earned runs, and 1 strikeout.
The Lady Crusaders will finish up its final 2 games of the Space Coast Games tomorrow morning at 10 AM and 12:15 AM.
