The Lady Crusader started slow in the first half, but finished strong outscoring Randall 40-34 in the second half to propel it to a 66-60 victory.Â
DCC shot 21-61 (34%) from the field, 8-23 (35%) from the three-point line, and 16-24 (66%) from the free-throw line. DCC had 7 second chance points, 22 points in the paint, 12 points off turnovers, and 21 bench points.
Kera Martinez had a stellar day with 23 points on 7-11 shooting from the field, and 3-4 from the three-point line.
Myah Coleman had 10 points off the bench on 4-9 shooting from the field.
DeMia Jackson had 7 points and 6 rebounds off the bench. DCC will be back on the road on Thursday at Southwestern Adventist University to conclude regular season play.
