FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Baseball team hosted the final two games of the Tri-match series on Saturday afternoon against Crowley's RIdge and Southwestern Christian University. 

Game 1- The Crusaders used a 6 run third inning to propel them past the Pioneers. Derek Lewis picked up his first win of the year pitching 7 innings, allowing 5 hits, 2 earned runs, 4 walks, 7 strikeouts in 29 batters faced.

AJ Smith went 2-3 with an RBI and 1 run scored. Jaidon Erivez went 2-2 with 1 RBI. The Crusaders were solid defensively and held-off a late offensive charge from the Pioneers to secure the 6-3 victory. 

Game 2- SCU defeated DCC 23-11 in game 2 of the day. Frederick Perry went 2-4 with 2 RBI's and 3 runs scored. Lamar Blatnick went 2-5 at the plate. The Crusader will begin conference play at Champion Christian College on Thursday.
