FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College women's basketball team suffered a 77-65 loss on Tuesday night against Champion Christian College in a regional match-up.
Champion Christian jumped out to a 9 point lead in the first quarter and then built it up to 20 by the third quarter. DCC fought hard in the fourth quarter and lost 77-65.
DCC shot 21-64 (32%) from the field, 6-26 (23%) from the three-point line, and 17-30 (56.7%) from the free-throw line. DCC had 13 second chance points, 28 points in the paint, 6 points off turnovers, and 36 bench points.
T'Keitha Valentine had 11 points,
Myah Coleman had 14 points and 3 rebounds on 6-12 shooting from the field.
Alysha Garcia had 10 points off the bench. The Lady crusaders will be back at home on Saturday for Senior day against Randall University at 1 PM.
