MOORE, OK-- The Dallas Christian College Lady Crusaders defeated Randall University 61-58 in a defensive battle to move to 4-2 in conference play and 8-9 on the year.
The Lady Crusaders started off slowly but picked up pace as the game moved along. Stifling defensive pressure and timely baskets helped the Lady Crusaders secure a 61-58 victory.
DCC shot 23-59 (39%) from the field, 3-17 (17%) from the three-point line, and 11-17 (64%) from the free-throw line. DCC had 34 points in the paint, 11 points off turnovers, 60 bench points, and 7 second chance points.
Myah Coleman was the leading scorer for the Lady Crusaders with 13 points and 6 rebounds.
DeMia Jackson notched 12 points and 4 rebounds on 4-7 shooting from the field.
Atiana Cook had 10 points and 4 rebounds on 5-7 shooting from the field. The Lady Crusaders will look to add another win on Wednesday night against College of Biblical Studies on Dallas Wings Night.
