AUSTIN, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Men's Basketball team lost 119-96 on the road against Concordia University Texas on Monday evening at Concordia Fieldhouse.
The game started out fast-paced as the Crusaders took a 49-47 lead into the half-time break. Concordia took control of the game in the second half scoring 72 points en route to a 119-96 victory.
The Crusaders shot 31-66 (47%) from the field, 5-21 (24%) from the three-point line, and 29-41 (70%) from the free-throw line. The Crusaders had 11 second chance points, 52 points in the paint, 36 fast-break points, 12 points off turnovers, and 37 bench points.
Dion Grisnold had 14 points and 8 rebounds.
Grayson Bell had 13 points.
Carlas Canady had 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Nick Lancit had 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Charles Okoro had 10 points and 6 assists.
Ayo Awoyomi had 12 points on 4-6 shooting from the field.
Jason Ezeadiuguwu had 9 points and 8 rebounds.
Michael McLeod had 9 points. The Crusaders had 6 different players in double-figures.
The Crusaders will be back in action on Thursday night at 6 PM against Jarvis Christian University.
