DALLAS,TX-- The Dallas Christian College Baseball team defeated Randall in both games of a DH and did not allow a run in either game as there were stellar pitching performances. THe Crusaders won the first game 5-0 and the second game 8-0.
Game 1:
Bryce Garza was stellar on the mound and pitched a complete game shutout in the first game of the day. He went 7 innings, allowing 4 hits and recorded 3 strikeouts in 25 batters faced. This is his third straight complete game in a row.
Joel Stone went 1 for 2 with with 1 RBI and 1 walk.
Josh Freeman went 2 for 2 on the day and
Jaidon Erivez went 1 for 4 with an RBI and made some stellar plays at second base.
Game 2:
Tobin Jones went 6 innings, allowing 3 hits and no runs, and recorded 4 strikeouts. He picks up his second straight win. The Crusaders pitchers shutout the opposing offense in both games of th DH for the first time in program history.
Stefon Reyes went 1 for 1 with a 3 RBI double and 3 walks. The Crusaders are hot at the right time and on a 7 game winning streak. The Crusaders will host Randall tomorrow at 12 and 2 p.m to close out the series.
