DALLAS, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Baseball team hosted Howard Payne University on Tuesday afternoon at Glenda and Denny Dixon Field. The Crusaders lost the first game 4-3 and won the second game 6-3.
Game 1: In the first game of the day, DCC jumped on the board quick with 2 runs in the first inning on an RBI single by 
Cooper Ness. 
Jaidon Erivez scored on a wild pitch in the third inning to give the Crusaders a 3-0 lead. HPU scored 4 runs in the last 4 innings to come-back and defeat DCC. 
Tobin Jones pitched 3 innings, allowing 2 hits and no runs in 14 batters faced. JD Holiday allowed 4 runs and 6 hits in 17 batters faced. 
Stefon Reyes pitched 1 inning allowing no runs. 
Cooper Ness went 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI. 
Game 2: THe Crusaders offense cruised to 5 runs in the first two innings of the game. 
Zachary Andrews started the scoring with an RBI single to score his brother 
Brandon Andrews. 
Brandon Andrews blasted a three-run homerun to give DCC a commanding 5-0 lead. 
Andrew Hickey pitched three innings allowing 1 hit, no runs, and struck out three batters. 
Sean Hiller pitched three innings, allowing 2 hits and a run, and also struck out three batters. 
Brandon Andrews went 2 for 3 with a homerun and 3 RBI's.
Noah Snelson had a solid day at the plate with three hits. The Crusaders will travel to Ecclesia on friday at 4 p.m.
