DALLAS, TX-- The Dallas Christian Baseball team hosted College of the Ozarks in a DH on Friday afternoon at Glenda and Denny Dixon Field. The Crusaders exploded for 17 runs in the first game in an 11 run victory and lost the second game 9-0.
Game 1: The Crusaders exploded for 13 runs in the first four innings of the game.
Brandon Andrews went 3 for 4 with 2 home-runs, a single, and four RBI's.
Jaidon Erivez went 3 for 5 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored.
Josh Freeman went 3 for 4 with a home-run and 3 RBI's.
Derek Lewis went 3 for 4 with a home-run and 4 RBI's.
Bryce Garza had a stellar performance on the mound going 7 innings, allowing 6 earned runs, 5 walks, 3 strikeouts. DCC tallied the most hits in a game this season with 17, had 15 RBI's, and 8 walks.
Game 2: The Crusaders dropped game 2 by a score of 9-0.
Tobin Jones was stellar on the mound and after 6 innings only allowed three runs. In the last inning the Bobcats tallied 6 runs to close out a 9-0 victory.
Tobin Jones went 6 innings, allowing 6 earned runs, 3 walks, 9 hits, and struck out 6 batters.
BG Santana went 2 for 3 with 2 singles.
The Crusaders will be back at home tomorrow to conclude a four-game series with The College of the Ozarks at 12 and 2:30 p.m.
