HOT SPRINGS, AR-- The Dallas Christian College women's basketball team suffered an 87-61 regional loss against Champion Christian College on Tuesday evening.

The Lady Crusaders statistically, shot 27-73 (37%) from the field, 2-22 (9.1%) from the three-point line, and 5-11 (45%) from the free-throw line. The Lady Crusaders scored 10 second chance points, 38 points in the paint, 7 points off turnovers, and 61 bench points. 

Rakia Lee scored 16 points, had 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. Yvonne Fuerte had 15 points and 4 rebounds on 7-14 shooting from the field. Amber Covington scored 12 points and had 12 rebounds for her 5th double-double of the season. Naiya Brown had a near double-double with 10 points and 9 rebounds. The Lady Crusaders will take a 2 week break before facing off against Arlington Baptist on the road.
