LANGSTON, OK-- The Dallas Christian College women's volleyball team faced-off against Langston University on Tuesday evening at 5 p.m. Langston defeated the Lady Crusaders in straight sets 25-17, 25-15, and 25-19.
As a team DCC had 33 points, 24 kills, 7 Aces, 2 blocks, 21 assists, and 32 digs. Langston had 57.5 points, 37 kills, 9 Aces, 11 Blocks, 32 assists, and 27 digs. Langston was able to handle set 1 with an 8 point victory. DCC battled back in the second set, but LU was able to sustain the rally and win the second set.
DCC controlled the third set early and shifted momentum to its side with a tremendous start. The Lions were able to mount a comeback in the third set to defeat the Lady Crusaders.
Cameron Del Angel notched 10 kills,
Christen Downey had 6 kills, and
Autumn Allmon recorded 2 kills.
Rae Leano recorded 3 Aces,
Kelly Graves had 2 Aces, and
Taylor Larsen had 1 Ace.
