ARLINGTON, TX-- The Dallas Christian College women's volleyball team suffered a loss in straight sets in an NCCAA Regional match on Tuesday evening against Arlington Baptist University.
Arlington Baptist won in straight sets 25-18, 25-15, and 25-16. ABU collected 52 points, 36 kills, 10 Aces, 6 blocks, 34 assists, and 37 digs. As a team, DCC grasped 27.5 points, 21 kills, 1 Ace, 5 blocks, 11 assists, and 26 digs.
Christen Downey led the team with five kills, Mary-Nichole Fenter had four kills, and
Cameron Del Angel collected three kills.
Christen Downey recorded the lone Ace for the Lady Crusaders.
Autumn Allmon collected four blocks,
Christen Downey recorded two blocks, and
Alexis Garner had one block.
Kelly Graves led the team with five assists,
Hannah Gallegos notched 4 assists, and
Rae Leano had two assists.
Rae Leano and
Megan Ross both had 10 assists and
Olivia Withers had two assists. The next match is at Southwestern Adventist University on Friday, Sep. 23.
