Amber Covington had an impressive double-double with 20 rebounds and 13 points on 6-12 shooting from the field.
The Tigers controlled the game from start to finish and were able to hold off a furious second half rally from the Lady Crusaders to secure a 68-39 victory. As a team the Lady Crusaders shot 17-67 (25%) from the field, 1-16 (6%) from the 3 point line, and 4-11 (36%) from the free-throw line. DCC corralled 39 rebounds, 13 assists, 2 blocks, and 6 steals.
Amber Covington led the day for the Lady Crusaders with a monster double-double with 20 rebounds and 13 points.
Rakia Lee had 6 points,
Mckayla Washington had 5 points, and
Naiya Brown totaled 5 points.
