ABILENE, TX-- The Dallas Christian College women's basketball team suffered a loss on the road against Cisco College on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Crusaders fought until the final whistle, but were not able to overcome the deficit.
The first half was tightly contested as Cisco led 31-29 after 20 minutes of play. The Wranglers were able to pull away in the second half to secure a 66-55 win over the Lady Crusaders. Freshman
Yvonnee Fuerte had a career high in points with 20 on 8-14 shooting from the field and 9 rebounds.
Mckayla Washington had 14 points on 5-9 shooting from the field and 3-5 shooting from the 3 point line.Â
As a team DCC shot 20-53 (37%) from the field, 5-16(31%) from the 3 point line, and 10-14 (71%) from the free-throw line. The Lady Crusaders will face Occidental College on Saturday, December 17.
