LAREDO, TX-- The Dallas Christian College women's basketball team competed in back-to-back exhibition games against Texas A&M International. The Lady Crusaders fought hard in both games, but suffered a 92-49 loss in the first game and a 108-57 victory in the second game. Both games do not count against the overall season record.
Game 1: Texas A&M International defeated DCC by a score of 92-49. The Lady Crusaders fought hard and shot 19-55 (34%) from the field, 2-17 (11.8%) from the three-point line, and 9-13 (69.2%) from the free-throw line.
Keiarra Rivers had a team-high 17 points on 6-9 shooting from the field.
Rakia Lee had 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists.Â
Game 2: In the second exhibition game of the week, DCC suffered a 108-57 lead. The Lady Crusaders put together an outstanding effort shooting 26-66 (39.4%), 3-13 (23%) from the 3 point line, and 2-4 from the free-throw line.Â
Keiarra Rivers led the team with 25 points and ten rebounds. She captures her third double-double on the season. DCC will face off in its final exhibition game of the season against St. Mary's University.
