SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Dallas Christian College men's basketball team agreed to play University of the Incarnate Word and UTSA on this upcoming Sunday and Monday at their home venues. Both opposing squads had games canceled, and the Crusaders had two games in their hosted DCC Christmas Classic canceled at the end of this week.
 
DCC is only officially 1-3 on the season and is coming off a home loss to NAIA unbeaten Paul Quinn College. The Crusaders had taken a one-point halftime lead over the now 11-0 Tigers before a second half slump gave them their first home setback in two outings.
 
The Crusaders have played 12 exhibitions, with their latest three being against NCAA Division I foes. Headlining the group was last Monday at Texas A&M University.
 
Sunday's game against UIW is the second time DCC will face a Southland Conference member. The Crusaders took on Northwestern State University and did have a game slated with McNeese State University, but that was postponed at the moment. Tip-off at the McDermott Center is for 4 p.m. Links to follow the action are on the schedule/results page.
 
The next day, DCC will play its first Conference USA opponent at 7 p.m. Admission is free and the game will be broadcast live on CUSA TV and Ticket 760 AM. Links to those websites are also on dccsports.com.
