FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Softball team swept Hesston College in 2 games on Friday afternoon. The Crusaders won game 1 8-7 on a walk-off and won game 2 11-1 in a wire-to-wire victory.
Game 1: The Crusaders jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the 3rd inning, Hesston battled back to tie the game at 7, but the Crusaders prevailed victorious with a walk-off single by

Erin Thibault went 3 for 4 at the plate.
Kayla Looper went 3 for 4 at the plate with 3 RBI's.
Lia Rojas went 2 for 3 at the plate with 1 RBI.
Kaylee Brent pitched 4 innings allowing 1 run, 1 hit, and had 5 strikeouts.
Nizhoni Yellow pitched 1 inning allowing 3 hits, 5 runs in 7 batters faced.
Casey Brent pitched 1 inning allowing 2 hits, 1 run, and 1 strikeout.
Jasmine Hernandez picked up the victory giving up no runs and 2 strikeouts in 1 inning of work.
Game 2: The Crusaders dominated from start to finish with a 11-1 run-rule victory in 5 innings.
Erin Thibault went 2 for 2 with 3 RBI's.
Kyleigh Lewis went 2 for 2 with 1 RBI.
Lia Rojas went 3 for 3 with 2 RBI's.
Toni Meyer picked up the win in the circle going 5 innings allowing 4 hits, 1 run, and 2 strikeouts.
The Crusaders will be back in action on May 2 against Hardin Simmons University.
