FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Men's Baseball team completed a sweep of Hesston College on Senior Day Weekend. The Crusaders won game 1 10-3, won game 2 6-3, and won game 3 9-7. The three seniors honored on senior day were
Bryce Garza,
Haden Sedatole, and
Andrew Hickey.
Game 1: The Crusaders jumped out to an early lead scoring 8 runs in the first 3 innings on their way to securing a 10-3 victory.
Bryce Garza pitched 5 innings allowing 6 hits, 3 runs, and 4 strikeouts in his final home game as a Crusader.
Wyatt Smith went 2 for 3 at the plate with 2 doubles and 2 RBI's.
Haden Sedatole had a solid game at the plate going 3 for 3 with an RBI.
Game 2: The Crusaders used a solid performance on the mound from
Jonas Ledesma to secure a 6-3 victory.
Jonas Ledesma pitched 5 innings allowing 7 hits, 3 runs, and 3 strikeouts.
Anthony Lowder pitched 2 innings allowing no runs and a strikeout picking up his first career save.
Isaac Young went 2 for 2 at the plate with 3 RBI's.
Wyatt Smith went 2 for 2 at the plate with an RBI.
Game 3: The Crusaders overcame an early 4 run deficit and completed the comeback securing a 9-7 victory.
Kreed Jones pitched 3 innings allowing 4 runs and had 3 strikeouts.
Max Zierau dominated pitching 6 innings allowing 7 hits, 2 runs, and 1 strikeout.
Jonas Ledesma went 2 for 5 at the plate with 3 RBI's.
Wyatt Smith went 2 for 4 at the plate with an RBI. The Crusaders will be back on the road on Friday and Saturday at Calvary Bible College.
