CONWAY AR, & LANGSTON, OK-- The Dallas Christian College softball team finished up a 4 game stretch on the road against Central Baptist College and Langston University. The Crusaders lost 7-6 and 4-3 against Central Baptist College and lost 11-3 and 5-3 against Langston University.
Game 1: The Crusaders gave up a 3 run lead in the final 2 innings of the game. The Crusaders led 5-0 after 3 & 1/2 innings, but were not able to hold the lead.
Julia Saucedo went 3 for 5 at the plate with 2 runs scored.
Laila Robins went 2 for 4 with 1 RBI.
Toni Meyer pitched 7.1 innings allowing 11 hits, 7 runs, 6 earned runs, in 36 batters faced.
Game 2: The Crusaders carried a 3-2 lead heading into the final inning and gave up 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th losing 4-3 to finish off a 2 game series against Mustangs.
Kayla Looper went 1 for 3 with a home-run and an RBI.
Erin Thibault went 1 for 3 with an RBI.

Game 3: The Crusaders lost its first game against Langston University in 5 innings 11-3.

Jasmine Hernandez pitched .2 innings allowing 7 earned runs and had 1 strikeout.
Casey Brent pitched 4 innings allowing 8 hits, 4 runs, and 1 strikeout in 21 batters faced.Â
Game 4: The Crusaders fought hard in the final game of the weekend but fell short with Langston scoring 3 runs in the final inning to grasp a 5-3 victory.
