FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College men's Baseball team dropped 3 of 4 games at home against Crowley's Ridge College. The Crusaders won game 1 13-9, lost game 2 10-6, lost game 3 8-6, and lost game 4 11-9.
Game 1: The Crusaders used a 5 run 3rd inning to propel its team to its first victory of the season.
Bryce Garza picked up the win on the mound going 4 innings, allowing 4 hits, 2 earned runs, and 2 strikeouts.
Wyatt Smith went 3-4 at the plate with a double, home-run, and 6 RBI's.
Andrew Hickey went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI's.
Game 2: The Crusaders were not able to hold on to an early lead, giving up 7 runs in the 5th inning.
Adam Jordan pitched 4 innings, allowing 3 hits, 1 run, and 3 strikeouts.

Game 3: The Crusaders dropped game three, giving up 8 runs in the last 2 innings.

Game 4: The Crusaders finished the 4 game series with an 11-9 loss after giving up 8 runs in the 4th inning.

The Crusaders will be back at home for a 4 game series on Friday, Jan. 13 and Saturday, Jan.14 at 12 and 3 p.m. against Texas College.
