KEENE, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Men's Basketball team suffered a 71-67 loss on Thursday night in the semi-final round against Southwestern Adventist University in a back and forth game.
The Crusaders jumped out to an early lead, but were not able to sustain with the Knights using momentum to capture a 71-67 lead.
The Crusaders shot 26-66 (39%) from the field, 5-22 (23%) from the three-point line, and 10-12 (83%) from the free-throw line. The Crusaders had 7 second chance points, 34 points in the paint, 14 points off turnovers, and 25 bench points.
Carlas Canady had 13 points, 1 steal, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds.
Dion Grisnold had 12 points, 3 steals, and 1 rebounds.
Seth Mays had 8 points and 7 rebounds.Â
The Crusaders will look to recapture its late-season success heading into the next season.Â
