FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Baseball team dropped both games of a DH against Texas A&M Texarkana on Tuesday afternoon at Glenda & Denny Dixon Field. The Crusaders lost game 1 16-12 and lost game 2 15-2.
Game 1: Texas A&M Texarkana used a balanced offensive attack to hold off a late surge from the Crusaders and prevail victorious.Â
Gage Anderson went 2 for 4 at the plate with 1 RBI.
Wyatt Smith went 2 for 4 at the plate.
Colton Chavis went 2 for 5 at the plate with 2 RBI's.
Kreed Jones had a monster day at the plate going 4 for 4 with 2 home-runs and 7 RBI's.
Adam Jordan picked up the loss on the mound pitching 3 innings allowing 5 earned runs and 4 strikeouts.
Game 2: The Eagles used a 10 run 2nd inning to control the game from start to finish and end the day with back to back victories.
Isaac Young went 1 for 3 at the plate with 1 RBI.
Ethan Martinez went 1 for 2 at the plate with 1 RBI. The Crusaders will have the weekend off and be back at home to open up regional play against Ecclesia College.
