LITTLE ROCK, AK-- The Dallas Christian College Baseball team traveled to Central Baptist College to kick off a 4 game weekend series. The Crusaders lost game 1 9-3 and lost game 2 9-6.

Game 1: Central Baptist College used a 6 run 5th inning to propel its team to a 9-3 victory. Nathan Fuentes went 2-4, Gage Anderson went 2-3 with an RBI. Andrew Hickey went 2 for 2 at the plate. Kreed Jones went 1-3 with 1 RBI.

Max Zierau pitched 4.1 innings allowing 6 hits, 4 earned runs, and a strikeout in 22 batters faced. Braden Montgomery pitched 1.1 innings, allowing 3 runs, 1 strikeout in 9 batters faced.

Game 2: Central Baptist College jumped out to a hot start scoring 7 runs in the first 3 innings, which set the tone for the rest of the game giving the Mustangs a 9-6 victory.

AJ Hastings went 3 for 4 at the plate with 1 RBI. Colton Chavis went 1 for 4 at the plate with 3 RBI's. Jude Flores went 2 for 3 at the plate. The Crusaders will finish the series on Saturday starting at noon.
