FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College men's baseball team hosted Howard Payne University on Tuesday afternoon at Glenda & Denny Dixon Field in a 2 game DH. The Crusaders walked off game 1 with a 6-5 victory and lost game 2 17-14.

Game 1: The Crusaders won game 1 6-5 on a 2 RBI single by Jonas Ledesma. Nathan Fuentes went 1 for 2 at the plate with a hit and 3 runs scored. Andrew Hickey went 2 for 3 with a double and 3 RBI's. Jonas Ledesma went 1 for 3 with 2 RBI's.

Bradley MCarthur pitched 4 innings allowing 2 hits, 1 run in 16 batters faced. Braden Montgomery picked up the win on the mound. Zayden Heaton pitched 2 innings allowing 3 hits and no runs.

Game 2: The Crusaders went down 15-0, fought hard scoring 10 runs in the fourth inning, but were not able to overcome the deficit. 

Ty Goff went 2 for 5. Colton Chavis went 2 for 3 with 5 RBI's. The Crusaders will be in action on the road at Central Baptist College on Friday and Saturday.
