HOT SPRINGS, AR-- The Dallas Christian College women's basketball team suffered a 72-52 loss against Champion Christian College on Wednesday evening to open up Southwest Region play.
The Lady Crusaders fought hard but were not able to overcome its slow start with Champion Christian College holding the lead and starting off region play with a win.
The Crusaders shot 16-68 (24%) from the field, 3-23 (13%) from the three-point line, and 17-36 (47%) from the free-throw line.Â
The Crusaders had 7 second chance points, 14 points in the paint, 20 fast break points, 15 points off turnovers, 28 bench points.
Myah Coleman recorded 10 points and 12 rebounds, and
Kania Prichett had 11 points, 3 assists, and 5 rebounds. The Crusaders will be back in action Saturday against Howard Payne University.
