FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian men's basketball team outlasted Arlington Baptist at home on Friday night 85-82 in a gritty match-up in a crosstown rivalry.
The Crusaders withstood every run the Patriots went on and were poise in high pressure situations leading to a huge victory to extend its winning streak to 3 games.
The Crusaders shot 33-71 (47%) from the field, 6-12 (50%) from the three-point line, and 13-19 (68%) from the free-throw line. The Crusaders had 12 second chance points and 12 points off turnovers.
The bench was a huge lift tonight for the Crusaders, being responsible for 40 points.
Carlas Canady had 11 points and 9 rebounds on 4-10 shooting from the field.
Nick Lancit had 9 points and 2 steals.
Michael McLeod had 14 points on 5-9 shooting from the field and 4-4 from the three-point line. Jason Ezeadiguwu had 13 points on 5-10 shooting from the field.
