PENSACOLA, FL-- The Dallas Christian College women's basketball team suffered an 83-59 loss on the road Saturday afternoon in the Pensacola Classic against Pensacola Christian College.
The Lady Crusaders hung tough, but ultimately timely shooting and solid defense prevailed for the Eagles leading to an 83-59 victory over the Crusaders.
DCC shot 21-71 (30%) from the field, 3-22 (14%) from the three-point line, and 14-20 (70%) from the free-throw line. DCC scored 20 points in the paint, 23 points off turnovers, 10 second chance points, 16 fast break points, and 19 bench points.
Kania Prichett had 14 points, 6 rbounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
Kera Martinez had 12 points and 6 rebounds.
Brooke Nails had 11 points, and
Arianna Prichett had 10 points.
The Crusaders will be back in action on Wednesday in a huge regional matchup against Arlington Baptist at 5 PM.
