MBB: Crusaders fall to 0-3 in Southwest Region play with loss against against WCBC

FARMERS BRANCH TX—The Dallas Christian College Crusaders suffered a 81-77 loss on Wednesday afternoon against West Coast Baptist College, falling to 0-3 in in Southwest Region play.
 
The Crusaders fought hard, grasping a 7-point lead in the 2nd half, but were not able to hold on as West Coast Baptist College surged back completing the 81-77 victory.
 
The Crusaders shot 29-77 (38%) from the field, 8-31 (26%) from the three-point line, 9-14 (64%) from the free-throw line. DCC had 9 second Chance points, 24 points in the paint, 2 fast-break points, 14 points off turnovers, and 26 bench points.
 
Carlas Canady had a team-high 26 points, 8 assists, and 3 steals. Dion Grisnold had 21 points and 9 rebounds. Michael McLeod had 10 points. The Crusaders will be back at home on Saturday, Jan. 17 for a conference matchup against Randall University.
