FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Women's Volleyball Team defeated Cedar Valley College 3-1 (25-19, 25-16, 25-18, 25-21) behind a roaring home crowd in the home opener.
The Lady Crusaders played hard in the first set and fell short, but bounced back swinging momentum to their side by winning the last three sets to secure a huge victory.
As a team, DCC had 69 points, 48 kills, 15 Aces, 6 blocks, 43 assists, and 64 digs.
Rachael Maxwell led the team with 15 kills,
Brooklyn Ramey-Halkyard had 12 kills, and
Jessalyn Gutierrez had 10 kills. The dominance between these 3 players equated to 37 kills.
