FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Baseball team completed a sweep against Blackburn College on Thursday afternoon at Glenda & Denny Dixon field with a walk-off single by AJ smith to extend its winning streak to 3 games.

The Crusaders were able to fight adversity and score 4 runs in the bottom of the 8th inning, and even extending the game to 11 innings and coming up with clutch hits.

AJ Smith went 1 for 6 at the plate including the game-winning RBI. Jaidon Erivez went 1 for 5 with 2 RBI's. Jonas Ledesma went 1 for 5 at the plate with an RBI.

Bradley MCarthur pitched 2 innings, allowing 4 hits, and no runs. Samuel Cecil pitched 3 innings allowing 4 hits, 3 runs, 2 walks, and 1 strikeout. Baylor Patton pitched 2.1 innings allowing 1 run, 3 walks, and 1 strikeout. Jonas Ledesma pitched 2.2 innings allowing 1 hit, no runs and a strikeout and picked up the win.
