HOT SPRINGS, AK-- The Dallas Christian College women's basketball team dominated with a 57-33 victory against Manhattan Christian in the Champion Classic on Friday night.
The Crusaders dominated this game from start to finish with stifling defense holding its opponent to 14-61 (23%) shooting from the field, 1-22 (5%) shooting from the three-point line, and 4-12 (33%) from the free-throw line.
The Crusaders shot 22-55 (40%) from the field, 1-13 (8%) from the three-point line, and 12-16 (75%) from the free-throw line. DCC had 34 points in the paint, 25 fast break points, 17 bench points, and 23 points off turnovers.
DeMia Jackson had 13 points, 7 steals, and 4 assists.
Myah Coleman had a monster game with a double-double scoring 13 points and had 14 rebounds.
Brooke Nails had 12 points, and
Mattie Parham had 11 points.
The Crusaders will look to secure another victory on Saturday morning against Southeastern Baptist College.
