ARLINGTON, TX-- The Dallas Christian College women's volleyball team suffered a 3-1 (25-17, 25-23, 26-24, 25-19) loss in the regional semi-final against Randall University on Thursday afternoon ending its season.
The Crusaders had 2 players selected to the SW Region All-Second Team:
Zoelley Herrera and
Brooklyn Ramey-Halkyard.Â
The Crusaders had 50 points, 38 kills, 7 Aces, 5 blocks, 36 assists, and 68 digs.
Brooklyn Ramey-Halkyard had 10 kills,
Jessalyn Gutierrez had 9 kills, and
Zoelley Herrera had 5 kills.
Paloma Garcia had 4 Aces,
Zoelley Herrera had 2 Aces, and
Jaycie Stanley had 1 Ace.
Brooklyn Ramey-Halkyard had 4 blocks,
Zoelley Herrera had 2 blocks, and
Jaycie Stanley had 1 block.
Zoelley Herrera had 19 digs,
Emma Martinez had 14 digs, and
Alyssa Carreras had 12 digs.
The Crusaders end its season looking to continue to build up the culture of DCC Volleyball heading into next year.
